The Sailing Boat
Right in front of the Portoferraio
lighthouse next to Falcone Point, about 400 mt far from the coast,
there is a nice wreck of an iron sailing boat about 24 mt long. The
inside and the contour of this wreck are a good habitat for Congers,
Morays, Basses and schools of Saddled Breams and Sargos. The diving
is on an easy level but the considerable pleasure boater traffic
makes this diving boring in some months of the year.
