07. Guglie

In the channel between Pianosa and Capraia there is a bank characterized by 4 pinnacle rocks with cap at about -25 mt, covered by encrustations and coloured sponges. The pinnacles are frequented by shoals of Saddled bream and Anthias, that create a spectacular frame for all the pelagic pass fishes easily visible in this beautiful bank. For the keen of macro photography the side turned to Capraia or Northward are really beautiful and full of life. Very particular is a passage under an arch at about – 35 mt where often you can find Ombres of very big size and many times the current conditions change in a few hours, so the diving is advisable for very experienced divers.
