24. Cannelle Point

It’s about 150 mt far from the homonymous point and we dive on a sandy depth at about -15 mt, going out toward the open sea Eastward we find the beginning of the wall which sinks rapidly, the wall is covered by Yellow and White Sea Fans which more in depth leave the place to same Sea Fans but the Red one. The fans of this Paramuricee are really big and thick and often around it we can find Dentex during the hunting, Anthias and Sargos presence is normal. One of the characteristic of the diving is a tunnel completely covered by Parazoanthus and a split that cut diagonally the wall, that can shelter many fishes of different species, there is also a permanent school of Ombres. Here in some months of the year there are many different surprises, with meeting with pass fishes. Take care to the current that often is really strong.
