Diving characterized by a large red
Sea fan meadow. Leaving back the yellow and white Sea fans, on a
depth of about -20 mt, we will swim on a Posidonia meadow at about
-25 mt where we will immediately notice a depth change. At about -30
mt rise big rocks crowded of branches of red Paramuricee, on it life
and colours are really intense and you can easily see Dentex and
Greater amberjack of considerable size swimming around it. Sometimes
you can also see them during the pelagic hunt of shoal of anchovy
which frequent this depths, a spectacle that the nature sometimes
offers to the divers. Continuing the descent and arrived at about
-40 mt we find the entrance of a large cave where there are a big
Parazoanthus colony and big yellow Sponges, here we can find
stranded, almost in a sedentary way, big specimen of Scorpion-fishes,
Greater fork-beard and Lobsters. Instead the shoal part is
frequented by Groupers and beautiful and coloured shoal of Anthias
that with the choreographic plays of light complete our diving, or
leave a great souvenir to the less experienced divers that can’t
explore deeper depths.
