Ripalti
We are next to the Gabbiani Coast, a
few meters from the Ripalti Point. Arrived on a depth of about -15
mt, where there are big granitic blocks, we begin our descent
Eastward till when the wall divides taking two different directions.
Keeping the North West direction the wall slopes down to about -42
mt, here big pass fishes as Greater amberjack, Dentex and Atlantic
Bonito sighting are common and also Spotted Eagle Rays. On the wall
there are Red Sea fans very common in this side of the island and
separated from the wall base you can see big rocks completely
covered by Sea fans. In this point it’s easy to find very strong
currents that make possible the pelagic fish sighting, but at the
same time make the diving very demanding.
