Remaiolo Rock
Here we are at about an hour of
navigation far from Marina di Campo, closeness to Ripalti Point.
Here there is a big surfacing rock and we can make different diving
for all the levels, the most enchanting part is the wall that slopes
down almost vertical to South/East to the open sea, where we find
the wall covered by Parazoanthos, different colours Sponges and
Yellow Sea fans. The South Westward part slopes down gradually and
it’s covered by Red Sea fans. Arrived at the depth, going out toward
the open sea at about -45 mt, we find an isolated rock covered by
big Red Sea fans. For the less experienced divers the tour around
the rock permits to stay at a depth between -18 mt and -25 mt, it
offers the possibility of peeping into the splits where hide
Groupers, Gobys and Morays without renouncing the wonderful colours
of the encrustations that cover also this part of the rock.
