40. Careno Bank

Between S. Andrea and Zanca there is a very charming bank with a cap at -18 mt, it extends Westward with many rocks at different depth, this rocks create often very beautiful holes covered by Yellow Sponges and other kind of encrustations. Here you have to take attention at the nets tangled around the rocks that can be a danger, but that at the same time create a very scenographic background to the diving. Dentex, Barracuda, Ombres, Basses are the most common meeting but there are also shoals of Anthias that create very beautiful blob of colour, and there are also accidental meeting with pelagic pass fishes in hunting.
