3. Fetovaia Bank

This bank is placed at about half mile from the coast and at about 6 miles from Marina di Campo. With cap at -13 mt, it slopes down slowly to the depth, the bank is famous for the presence of big Barracudas who are almost sedentary for at least 8/9 months a year. To the North part of the bank between -20 mt and -25 mt it’s easy to meet Dentex, Tunas and very numerous shoals of Saddled Breams. To the South part going down at about -35 mt we will meet very thick branches of Red Sea fans. In the numerous splits, lighting up and observing with attention , it’s easy to see Lobsters, every kind of Crustaceans besides every kind of hole fishes like Congers and Morays of big sizes.
