Marina di Campo

the perfect place for your holidays on Elba

on the southern side of the Elba coast it enjoys a formidable climatic condition all year round, thanks to direct exposure to winds coming from the South. It was born as a small fishing village within the municipality of Campo nell'Elba which broke away in 1894 from Marciana Marina whose coat of arms is preserved in the municipal symbol "La Torre". Thanks to the long and beautiful white sand beach of about 2 km, tourism developed earlier than in the other Elban towns and today Marina di Campo is the main tourist resort on the island. It is characterized by the oldest town at the end of the bay, where the marina stands, and by the seafront that ends in a beautiful pine forest that runs along the beach. Marina di Campo is one of the best-equipped tourist towns with numerous hotels, restaurants, shops and services of all kinds. Marina di Campo is also the perfect point from where you can depart for various and different Trekking excursions by Kayak or Mountain Bike, as well as being the port of embarkation for the excursion on the magical and spectacular Island of Pianosa.
